Founding Product Marketer

We’re looking for a self-starting marketer who loves building brands and driving growth in a fast-paced, design-led and iterative environment.

This is our first hire in growth/marketing, so you’ll have a huge impact on the our direction and trajectory as a brand and company.

In this role, you will:

  • Build and execute our 0→1 marketing strategy: Building a great product is worthless if no one knows about it — and you’ll help us make sure everyone does.
  • Help us build a brand that people love: You’ll help us make sure we find the right ICPs and talk to them about our product in an authentic and consistent way across all our touch-points.
  • Build the foundations for a community of advocates. We think fostering a strong community will play a critical role in our GTM.
  • Help us work in the open. We ship at a fast pace but don’t do a good job sharing these updates and bringing our users along with us. You’ll help ensure we make the most of each launch and track adoption of new features.
  • Come up with creative ways to get Granola in front of the right people: ads, events, stunts, swag, influencers, campaigns, PR, partnerships - anything is fair game.

Your background looks something like:

  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience at tech and product-driven companies.
  • You have a track record executing successful marketing campaigns and driving user acquisition.
  • You’re proficient with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and analytics software.
  • Experience in content creation, including writing, video production, and/or graphic design.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and priorities.

As a person, you:

  • You have a foundation in product marketing, and experience in other areas like content marketing or growth marketing.
  • You excel in roles that require both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You can prioritize effectively and are comfortable leaving some tasks for later.
  • While not a full-time content creator, you understand what makes compelling copy and can iterate on everything from website headlines to product updates.
  • You're detail oriented, maintain high standards of accuracy, and can work efficiently under pressure.
  • Are excited to work in-person from our office in London (most of the time).
  • Love working in a startup environment (you either have experience working in a startup or are really drawn to the zero-to-one phase).
  • Value working with people who are kind, ambitious, and pragmatic.
